Jekyll Island GA

My Favorite Place to Plant my Feet - The Beach

We are spending our last day at Jekyll Island, GA and it's pouring down rain! It rained all night and is still raining. Hopefully we can get to the car between showers and go over to St. Simon's Island for lunch and eat at the Crab Shack. They have delicious food and there is a used bookstore I can get lost in over there.

Thought I would share some more pictures with ya'll, so sit back, get another cup of coffee and enjoy.

We saw 2 pods yesterday and they are so beautiful to watch but hard to photograph.

This group of trees shows the tenacity of the trees which grow by the oceans. They bend with the winds but keep growing to the heavens.

First time we had noticed these. The ring around the bill is bright red - beautiful birds.
