Sunday's Pictures

Growing up in South Alabama, we did not have tobacco barns and now that our home is in South Georgia, I have become fascinated with them. As the tobacco farming grows less in this area, the old barns are being used for storage and some are falling down. I am photographing the old ones to show their character and building techniques.

Wonderful pictures and great project idea! I lived in South Bend, Indiana for a time and loved to see the old barns in the countryside. A part of our history that has passed away.
